Why does the charging power vary, not always the same power

In fact, electric vehicles with lead-acid battery chargers are generally three-stage charging mode, including:

The first stage is the constant current limit voltage, with a fixed current to charge the battery.

The second stage is constant voltage current limiting, also called constant voltage charging, with a fixed voltage to charge the battery.

The third stage is trickle floating charge, also known as maintenance charging, floating charging voltage, this stage is generally 2-3 hours after the power off.

This is also why in the charging process, the power is higher at the beginning, and after charging for a few hours, the charging power gradually decreases, and the charge ends with 2~3 hours of low power

无论是恒流充电还是恒压充电,如果都是一直以某一种充电方式充电,都会有安全隐患;恒流充电,到充电快结束时,还是以固定电流充电,充电机为维持恒流,提高电压,有因为过充而损坏电池的危险。恒压充电在开始充电时,电流很大,使蓄电池发热,电液沸腾,内部化学反应急剧,有爆炸的危险。电动车部分火灾原因均因恒压持续充电导致电池自燃。
